Coupang hosted approximately 40 leaders from 20 companies including AI startups, independent software vendors and major enterprises in a roundtable discussion about how GPU inference infrastructure and the agentic AI ecosystem can be connected to real-world business decisions.
As a NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP), Coupang operates large-scale GPU infrastructure through Coupang Intelligent Cloud (CIC), its AI infrastructure, and has been steadily expanding its engagement with AI startups and enterprises in Korea. The roundtable, held in September 2026 in Seoul, connected participating companies with Coupang and CIC’s infrastructure capabilities and NVIDIA’s broader technology ecosystem, while creating opportunities for collaboration and business development.
Coupang is continuing its technology innovation journey through sustained investment in advanced infrastructure spanning artificial intelligence, robotics and cloud services. As part of this effort, the company is deepening its technology collaboration with NVIDIA.
During the event, NVIDIA presented a technology spotlight titled, “Inference Tech Trend & NVIDIA Solutions,” covering the latest developments in inference technology and related solutions. NVIDIA highlighted the industry-wide shift from model training toward inference as AI moves into production and customer-facing services.
The event built on Coupang’s ongoing collaboration with NVIDIA. In March 2026, Coupang presented the results of the companies’ collaboration at the NVIDIA AI Conference & Expo, or GTC, in San Jose, California. Coupang explained that CIC had been combined with NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD to create an “AI factory”—a self-service AI ecosystem that enables engineers and data scientists to test and build AI models more quickly.
Coupang’s technology innovation has continued to receive external recognition. In March, Coupang was named to LexisNexis’s 2026 Top 100 Global Innovators list for the second consecutive year. In 2025, Coupang ranked second in the Retail category of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies list.
Building on the roundtable discussions, Coupang plans to further strengthen its technology collaboration with NVIDIA while continuing to enhance CIC’s infrastructure and operational capabilities. These efforts are intended to help AI startups and enterprises in Korea move beyond experimentation and scale their AI services into production.
